WANA (Jul 30) – The commander of the IRGC in Damavand, Iran, announced the arrest of three individuals affiliated with Mossad and the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) in the city of Damavand.

 

Mohsen Rahimi, reporting the arrest of three operatives linked to Mossad intelligence services and the MKO, said: “During the recent twelve-day conflict, and through the round-the-clock efforts of the anonymous soldiers of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance) in the IRGC Intelligence Organization of Damavand, these individuals were identified and detained in two separate operations.”

 

He added that the suspects had been cooperating with foreign intelligence services and planning acts of sabotage at sensitive sites. According to Rahimi, firearms and communication equipment were confiscated from them, and their cases have been referred to judicial authorities.

 

Rahimi further reported the arrest of two other individuals accused of spreading fear and intimidation by carrying out deliberate arson and vandalism along the region’s main roads. He also stated that several social media activists who had been attempting to disturb public psychological security were identified, summoned, and given official warnings.

 

He noted that several Starlink satellite devices, which had been illegally used for communications outside the country’s authorized framework, were also seized.

 

The Damavand IRGC commander, while expressing gratitude for public cooperation, stressed: “The vigilance and participation of the people in ensuring security is exemplary. We call on all citizens to report any suspicious activity to the IRGC Intelligence Organization’s operations center through hotline 114.”

 

Rahimi concluded by affirming that round-the-clock patrols will continue and that efforts to confront those undermining economic and social security are being pursued with determination.
