WANA (Mar 09) – Iran’s Prosecutor General’s Office has announced that the assets of Iranian nationals living abroad who align, cooperate, or assist hostile forces will be confiscated in accordance with the law.

In an official statement, the office emphasized that the blood of the “martyred leader” has further strengthened unity and solidarity among the Iranian people.

It also praised what it described as the timely and effective presence of citizens in national affairs, stating that such participation has disappointed Iran’s enemies and played a crucial role in maintaining and reinforcing the country’s security under current wartime conditions.

The statement expressed appreciation for the Iranian public who, according to the office, have contributed to national stability and security, and thanked all those who remain committed to the country.

At the same time, the Prosecutor General’s Office warned Iranian nationals residing abroad who, in its words, support or cooperate with the “aggressor American–Zionist enemy” through various means.

It stressed that such individuals will face legal consequences, including the confiscation of all their assets, in addition to other penalties stipulated by law.

According to the statement, under Iranian law any cooperation with enemy entities abroad that harms national security is punishable by the confiscation of all assets.

The office also cited Article 1 of the “Law on Intensifying the Punishment for Espionage and Cooperation with the Zionist Regime and Hostile Countries Against National Security and Interests,” adopted in October of this year.

The law stipulates that any operational activity carried out for the Israeli regime, hostile governments such as the United States, or other hostile groups and their affiliates against Iran’s security may result in the confiscation of all assets and the death penalty, in accordance with relevant provisions of Iran’s Islamic Penal Code.

The statement further noted that any intelligence or espionage activities conducted for such regimes, governments, or groups—or their affiliates—will likewise be punishable by the confiscation of all assets and the death penalty under Iranian law.
