WANA (Sep 04) – Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has welcomed China’s vision for regional security, advocating for a self-reliant safety framework free from outside intervention.

 

Writing on social media, Ghalibaf stated that Beijing’s emphasis on common security aligns with long-standing Iranian foreign policy.

 

“Regional countries must be taking their future into their own hands, and true stability can only come through a new security architecture that is homegrown,” Ghalibaf said. “Iran stands ready.”

 

Ghalibaf, who also serves as Iran’s special envoy for China affairs, emphasized that durable peace in the Middle East can only be achieved through collective cooperation among regional states rather than reliance on foreign powers.
