Iran Begins Legal Action Over Illegal Attacks in International Courts
WANA (Aug 27) – Iran’s Vice President for Legal Affairs has announced the initiation of legal proceedings concerning illegal attacks on civilian sites in international courts.
Speaking on the sidelines of a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, he stated: “Attacks on hospitals, residential areas, and protected international sites have been documented, and the cases are now ready to be filed in international judicial bodies.”
He added, regarding intergovernmental coordination: “At the international level, in close cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and within the framework of the Supreme National Security Council’s general policies, the Legal Affairs Office is advancing these efforts. We hope to raise the voice of Iran’s pursuit of justice and rights on the global stage.”
According to the Vice President, the office also handles domestic responsibilities, including the codification of regulations, drafting necessary legal provisions, resolving disputes between government agencies, and removing legal barriers for private sector investment. He emphasized that these initiatives are being carried out in line with recent directives from the Supreme Leader, aimed at supporting economic activity and investment.
