Iran Calls Germany’s Arms Export Ban to Israel ‘Too Late’
WANA (Aug 09) – Iran’s ambassador to Germany, Majid Nili, described the German government’s recent decision to suspend military exports to Israel as a “too-late” move.
Germany announced that it would halt, until further notice, all military equipment exports to Israel that could be used in Gaza. Ambassador Nili commented, “I believe this decision is very late, really late.”
He added, “However, given the depth of the humanitarian disaster in Gaza, even a small step can provide some relief — undoubtedly less than imagined — to the deep wounds of the defenseless people in this open-air glass prison.”

The latest mural in Tehran’s Palestine Square was unveiled, featuring the work of Australian artist Scott Marsh and the word “Hitanyahu” — a combination of the names Hitler and Netanyahu. This artwork had previously been displayed on a building in Spain. Social media/ WANA News Agency
