WANA (Jul 15) – Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson has reacted to the attack on an environmental ranger outpost in Hormozgan Province, describing it as the latest example of what he called a “U.S. war crime against Iran.”

 

According to Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei, the alleged U.S. military attack targeted several locations across Iran, including Hormozgan Province, on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. He said the strike on the environmental ranger outpost in the village of Seyed Jowzar, located in Hajjiabad County, resulted in the deaths of three members of the family of ranger Javad Hassanzadeh.

 

In a post on X, Baghaei wrote: “The list of U.S. crimes against the Iranian people grows longer every day. With each passing day, the United States reveals another layer of its hostility toward Iran. Early Tuesday morning, the U.S. military attacked an environmental ranger outpost in the village of Seyed Jowzar in northern Hormozgan Province, killing three members of the family of the dedicated ranger, Javad Hassanzadeh.”

 

Baghaei further claimed that the attack was the latest in a series of what he described as U.S. “war crimes” over the past four and a half months, which he said began on March 9, 2026.

 

He concluded by stating: “Each new crime strengthens the determination of the Iranian people to pursue justice and to hold accountable those who ordered and carried out these crimes.”
