Iran Condemns Israeli Regime’s Violation of Somalia’s National Sovereignty
WANA (Apr 20) – Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Esmaeil Baghaei, has strongly condemned the Israeli regime’s move to appoint a diplomatic envoy to the region known as “Somaliland,” which is an integral part of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
Baghaei characterized the move as a clear sign of the Israeli regime’s ongoing conspiracy to destabilize Islamic nations and sow division among regional countries.
The spokesperson emphasized: “This arbitrary action is a flagrant violation of the United Nations Charter and international law. It stands as a direct assault on the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of a sovereign state.”
Furthermore, Baghaei reminded the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the African Union, and the international community of their responsibility to confront the lawlessness, expansionism, and interference of the Israeli regime in the internal affairs of other nations.
