Iran Condemns Sydney Attack: Terrorism and Killing Are Rejected Everywhere
WANA (Dec 14) – Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson stressed that Iran condemns the violent attack in Sydney, Australia, stating that terrorism and the killing of people are unacceptable and condemned wherever they occur.

In a post on the social media platform X, Esmail Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote:
“We condemn the violent attack in Sydney, Australia. Terrorism and the killing of human beings are unacceptable and condemned wherever they take place.”
The shooting occurred during a Jewish Hanukkah celebration at Bondi Beach in Sydney, leaving at least 60 people killed or injured. Among the wounded were two police officers. In the incident, one attacker was killed, while another was arrested and remains in critical condition.
