Iran Condemns UAE Accusations and Arrests
WANA (Apr 21) – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei has condemned the United Arab Emirates for the detention of several individuals based on what he described as “baseless and hollow pretexts.”
Baghaei noted that raising such groundless claims and fostering an anti-Iranian atmosphere cannot divert public attention from the direct responsibility of those who support and back American and Israeli aggressors in their military aggression against Iran.
The spokesperson emphasized that such projections will not contribute to building trust among regional countries.
He further called on the UAE government to respect the human rights and dignity of individuals, refrain from retaliatory behavior, and return to the principle of good neighborliness.
