Iran Conducts Suborbital Test with “Ghased” Satellite Launcher
WANA ( Jul 21) – Iran successfully carried out a suborbital test on Monday morning using its indigenous “Ghased” satellite carrier, aiming to evaluate several new technologies under development in the country’s growing space industry.
According to Iranian officials, this suborbital test—conducted on July 21 —was designed to assess systems that are expected to enhance the performance of future satellites and space platforms.
“The results of this suborbital experiment will be used to improve the efficiency and capabilities of Iran’s satellite systems and broader space infrastructure,” a statement from the relevant authorities noted.
The test reflects Iran’s ongoing efforts to expand its technological independence and strengthen its position in space science and aerospace engineering.
