WANA (May 23) – Iran’s Defense Ministry has warned that the United States and Israel will face mounting costs and successive defeats if they continue to disregard the legitimate rights and demands of the Iranian nation.

 

Brigadier General Reza Talaei-Nik, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, made the remarks during a recent interview, stating that U.S. President Donald Trump has become trapped in a quagmire regarding conflict with Iran.

 

He emphasized that the American administration has no choice but to accept the demands of the Iranian nation and recognize the country’s sovereign rights.

 

The Path to Resolution and Escalating Costs

According to the spokesperson, fulfilling Iran’s lawful demands is the only viable exit strategy for the Israeli enemy from what he termed a third imposed war, whether through the battlefield or diplomatic channels.

 

Talaei-Nik noted that failure to comply with these demands will inevitably impose heavier financial and strategic costs, resulting in consecutive defeats for both Trump and the Israeli regime.

 

He urged the U.S. administration to accept Iran’s current proposals to prevent further damage and costs to the American public and the international community.

 

A Warning on Foreign Policy

The Defense Ministry spokesperson concluded by criticizing the current U.S. leadership’s foreign policy approach, attributing the ongoing tensions to a disregard for actual American interests.

 

He warned that Trump’s disregard for America’s own national interests, his subservience to the Israeli regime, and his arrogant behavior will only cause the United States to sink deeper into the quagmire of war.
