Iran Deploys Long-Range Sejjil Ballistic Missile in the Twelfth Wave of “True Promise 3” Operation
WANA (Jun 18) – Earlier today, the Islamic Republic of Iran launched the twelfth wave of missile attacks on Israeli-held territories as part of its ongoing “True Promise 3” operation. According to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), this phase marked the first use of the long-range Sejjil missile, with a reported range of 2,000 kilometers.
This latest strike comes amid reports that previous waves have damaged parts of Israel’s air defense systems. The IRGC stated that, following these earlier operations, “the skies over the occupied territories have now been opened to Iranian missiles and drones.”
In its 11th official statement, the IRGC declared:
“Backed by the heroic Iranian people, the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic have, in successive operations, dismantled the Zionist regime’s air defense systems. Now, the skies over the occupied territories are open to Iranian missiles and UAVs. The missile strikes of the Islamic Republic will be strategic, ongoing, and part of a legitimate response to the regime’s repeated crimes.
As the IRGC Commander-in-Chief previously warned, the gates of hell have been opened. The thunderous missiles of the IRGC Aerospace Force will not let you leave your shelters for even a moment.
For days now, you have not seen the light of the sun. It’s time to choose between a slow death in bunkers or fleeing the usurped lands.
Rest assured, the sound of red alert sirens will not stop. The occupying regime must understand that Iran’s response is not limited by time or geography, and future waves will be more intense and more precise.”
According to the IRGC, three Sejjil missiles were launched in this round, aimed at deep targets within Israeli-controlled territory. Local sources reported widespread air raid sirens sounding in parts of Tel Aviv and central Israel.
