Iran–Europe Nuclear Talks
WANA (Aug 22) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, in response to reporters’ questions regarding the latest status of Iran–Europe nuclear negotiations, announced that, based on prior coordination, the Foreign Minister will hold a joint phone call on Friday, August 22, with the foreign ministers of France, the United Kingdom, and Germany, as well as Ms. Kaja Kallas, the EU High Representative.
According to Esmaeil Baghaei, the call will address the nuclear issue and Iran’s demands—particularly the lifting of what Tehran describes as “unjust” sanctions—as well as the need for the other parties to respond regarding the “criminal” attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Details of the phone call will be released by WANA News Agency.
