WANA (Sep 30) – Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi announced enhancements in the naval capabilities of both the Army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), citing lessons learned from the recent 12-day conflict.
During a visit to the offensive and defensive units of the Army and IRGC Navy in Hormozgan Province, Mousavi said that significant progress had been achieved in a short time.
“In light of what occurred during the 12-day war, our forces focused on the methods used by Iran’s hostile enemies and have prepared themselves to confront such threats,” he stated.
Mousavi added that major developments have been made in the IRGC Navy since the end of the 12-day imposed war, emphasizing that the forces now demonstrate “extraordinary readiness for any potential future confrontation.”
