WANA (Mar 29) – The Iranian Ministry of Health has released updated statistics on casualties from the recent U.S.-Israeli conflict against Iran, reporting that a total of 24,742 injured individuals have been treated and discharged as of the 30th day of the war.

 

The ministry also provided new details on fatalities, injuries, and damage to the country’s healthcare infrastructure.

 

According to the report, Tehran and Hormozgan provinces recorded the highest number of fatalities. Among the injured, 4,255 were women, while 1,767 were children under the age of eight, including 17 children under five and 63 under the age of two.

 

In the healthcare sector, 727 patients remain hospitalized, with treatment and discharge processes ongoing. So far, 986 surgical operations have been performed on the wounded.

 

The report further stated that 114 members of medical and emergency response teams were injured, while 24 healthcare workers lost their lives on the front lines of crisis response.

 

Additionally, 246 women, 216 children under 18, and 17 children under five were among those killed.

 

Significant damage to healthcare infrastructure was also reported. According to the ministry, 51 emergency bases, 41 medical centers, and 199 health facilities have been damaged.

 

Furthermore, six hospitals have been evacuated, and 40 ambulances have sustained damage during the conflict.
