WANA (Jun 01) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi continued his diplomatic consultations with regional and international counterparts on Monday evening, holding separate telephone conversations with the foreign ministers of France, Turkey, and Qatar to discuss the latest regional developments and the situation in Lebanon.

 

During his phone call with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot, the two sides reviewed recent regional developments, Israel’s attacks on Lebanon, and the consequences of these actions. Araghchi stressed the need for the international community to pay close attention to the impact and repercussions of Israel’s military operations in the region.

 

The Iranian foreign minister also held a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to discuss regional developments stemming from Israel’s attacks on Lebanon. During the call, the two ministers exchanged views on various aspects of the recent developments and their implications for regional security and stability.

 

As part of his ongoing consultations, Araghchi also spoke by phone with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar. The discussion focused on the latest situation in Lebanon amid Israel’s attacks and the consequences of these actions. Both sides underscored the importance of diplomatic efforts to prevent further escalation of tensions in the region.
