Iran International’s Emails Hacked
WANA (Jul 01) – A hacker group has claimed responsibility for breaching Iran International, describing the channel as an affiliate of the Israeli regime and vowing to release confidential staff information.
The group, calling itself Anonymous (Gomnaman), issued a statement claiming it had hacked the servers of Iran International and gained access to its confidential emails.
It asserted that Iran International operates under the control of the Israeli regime and has no genuine support among the Iranian people.
Anonymous announced it would soon publish sensitive information about the channel’s employees, collaborators, and contacts.
Anonymous is a decentralized, leaderless cyber movement that emerged in the early 2000s on forums like 4chan. Its members are known for wearing the iconic Guy Fawkes mask and using tactics such as DDoS attacks, data leaks, and online campaigns to fight censorship, corruption, human rights violations, and government control.
They have carried out operations against governments, corporations, and other organizations — including attacks on financial institutions in support of WikiLeaks, cyberattacks on the Russian government after the Ukraine war began, and leaks of U.S. police data following George Floyd’s death.
