Iran-Iraq Flights to Resume Today
WANA (Oct 04) – Flights between Iran and Iraq will resume simultaneously on Sunday, October 4, with Iranian and Iraqi airlines operating services between the two countries.
The head of Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization said the decision was made following consultations at the highest levels between the two countries, allowing flights on the Iran-Iraq route to resume from Sunday.
Abuzar Shiroudi urged passengers to check the latest status and departure time of their flights through the official channels of their airline or the flight information system of the departure airport before heading to the airport.
He also advised passengers traveling to Najaf to purchase tickets through airline websites or reputable ticketing platforms and to confirm that their flight is operating as scheduled before leaving for the airport.
