WANA (Jun 28) – Iran’s Judiciary Chief, Gholam-Hossein Mohseni Ejei, said Iranian courts have issued rulings against a number of U.S. officials accused of committing crimes against the Iranian people, and vowed to enforce those judgments if their assets become accessible.

 

Mohseni Ejei stated that although Iran has so far been unable to access the assets of those officials, the judiciary will implement the court rulings once such access becomes possible.

 

Referring to the recent seizure of a U.S. vessel whose assets were confiscated in favor of Iranians harmed by what he described as U.S. crimes, he said the case was only one example.

 

He added that if Iran gains access to the assets of “criminal Americans” in the future, they will be seized and confiscated in accordance with court orders.
