Iran Launches 66th Wave of “True Promise 4” Operation
WANA (Mar 20) – Iran says it carried out a large-scale military offensive against Israeli territory using multiple advanced missile and drone systems, according to a statement by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
In a statement released early Friday, the IRGC said the 66th wave of its ongoing “True Promise 4” operation was launched at approximately 1:20 a.m., targeting locations in central and southern Israel, including Tel Aviv, as well as U.S. military bases in the region. The operation was described as having been executed “with full success.”
The statement said the assault involved a combination of heavy, precision-guided, and multi-warhead missile systems, including the Qadr, Khorramshahr, Kheibar Shekan, Qiam, and Zolfaghar missiles, along with loitering attack drones. Both solid- and liquid-fuel missile systems were reportedly used.
The IRGC also claimed that the attacks have forced residents in Israel to spend extended periods in shelters amid repeated air raid sirens. It further criticized Israeli leadership, including Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump, blaming them for escalating the conflict.
The statement concluded by warning that the current wave of attacks would continue.
