This operation, dubbed “True Promise 3,” follows last night’s strikes and comes in retaliation for the recent Israeli aggression against targets inside Iran or forces affiliated with the Axis of Resistance.
In this large-scale offensive, hundreds of ballistic missiles and dozens of combat drones were launched simultaneously toward key military and security installations in the occupied territories. Iranian military sources stated that the coordinated assault was specifically designed to overwhelm Israeli air defense systems and challenge the regime’s rapid response capability.

Renewed Israeli Attack on Iran: Military and Energy Sites in Tehran Targeted
As tensions between Iran and Israel continue to escalate, airstrikes hit parts of northern and western Tehran on Saturday night, reportedly carried out by Israeli forces. These attacks came amid reports from security sources that Iran had simultaneously launched retaliatory strikes on Israeli military positions in northern occupied Palestine.
According to initial reports, Tehran’s oil refinery was among the targets and sustained damage from projectile impacts. Emergency response teams, firefighters, and operational units were immediately deployed to the site, where efforts to contain the fire and secure the area are ongoing.
Reports also indicate that the Command Headquarters of Iran’s Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, located in the Nobonyad area of Tehran, was targeted by Israeli aircraft. One of the administrative buildings in the complex sustained partial damage.
In another strike in the same area, the Organization for Defense Innovation and Research (SEPAND), affiliated with the Ministry of Defense, was also hit. So far, official sources have not released detailed information on possible casualties or the full extent of the damage.
The spokesperson for the Tehran Fire Department announced: Two or three tanks caught fire at a warehouse in Shahran, Tehran. These tanks did not contain gasoline but were filled with other petroleum derivatives.
Due to prior precautions and inventory adjustments, the situation is being managed. Firefighters are currently working to bring the blaze under control.
