WANA (Jun 09) – Manouchehr Mottaki, a member of Iran’s Parliament, has called on the head of the judiciary to issue a qisas (retributive justice) ruling against U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Referring to what he described as the testimony of the “martyred Imam of the nation” (Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei) regarding the crimes allegedly committed by the two leaders, Mottaki said: “The most just witness on Earth, our martyred Imam, testified to their crimes.”

Citing remarks made by Iran’s Late Supreme Leader following the 12-day war, Mottaki stated: “Martyr Imam Khamenei said after the 12-day war that Trump was responsible for the deaths of more than a thousand Iranian martyrs. What greater testimony could there be? Trump himself admitted to ordering the killing of Qassem Soleimani. Therefore, the case is completely clear.”

The lawmaker added: “My proposal is that the head of the judiciary issue a qisas ruling against these two inherently criminal individuals, Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu, whom I regard as child-killing criminals.”

Addressing the issue of enforcement, Mottaki said: “Our judicial authorities may not be able to directly carry out such a ruling, but we have a precedent drawn from Imam Khomeini’s practice. Imam Khomeini issued a judicial ruling and a religious decree concerning Salman Rushdie as an example of someone who had insulted the Prophet of Islam.”

He further proposed that the implementation of any such ruling be entrusted to Muslims around the world, stating: “My suggestion is that the head of the judiciary place the execution of the qisas ruling against Trump and Netanyahu in the hands of Muslims worldwide.”
