Iran Makes First Appearance at Ecuador’s Tourism Expo
WANA (Dec 01) – The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran took part for the first time in a trade and tourism exhibition in Quito, the capital of Ecuador, showcasing Iranian culture, handicrafts, and tourism potential.
The event, titled “Expo Multisectorial,” brought together small and medium-sized trade and tourism enterprises at Quito’s main exhibition center. The expo is considered Ecuador’s most significant annual gathering for the production, commerce, and tourism sectors.
Invited by the Ecuadorian Chamber of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, the Iranian Embassy displayed a collection of handicrafts, cultural items, photographs of historical and tourist attractions, and promotional videos introducing Iran.
Officials from Ecuador’s Ministry of Industries, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and local Quito authorities visited Iran’s booth and praised the country’s cultural richness and tourism capacities.
