WANA (Apr 12) – Iran’s Deputy Minister of Oil has announced plans to restore damaged refining and fuel distribution facilities, stating they are expected to return to a significant portion of their previous capacity within one to two months.

He stated that parts of the refinery are expected to resume operations within approximately 10 days. According to Azimifar, recovery efforts are progressing as planned, and the affected facilities are projected to reach 70% to 80% of their pre-incident capacity within one to two months.

He also praised the efforts of workers in Iran’s refining and distribution sector, noting that despite the challenges posed by the attacks, they successfully prevented major disruptions in fuel supply and maintained services for the public.

Referring to the human toll, Azimifar added that three oil industry workers were killed in the attacks, but emphasized that the resilience of personnel ensured that critical infrastructure continued to function and the attackers’ objectives were not achieved.
