WANA (Jul 22) – Hours ago, U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to strike another Iranian nuclear site in the near future. His approach toward Iran now appears to follow a clear pattern: targeting any location connected to the country’s nuclear program, whether it is used for uranium enrichment, centrifuge storage, or other nuclear-related activities.

 

If this strategy continues, it would effectively render Iran’s nuclear program inoperable. Under such a framework, any facility involved in the program—even one used solely to store centrifuges—could become a target for military strikes.

 

According to this assessment, Iran’s immediate priority should be to disrupt this pattern. Previous responses, including the strike on a U.S. base following the attack on the Fordow nuclear facility during the 12-day war, as well as the operations carried out in recent nights, do not appear sufficient to alter Washington’s calculations.

 

The argument suggests that Tehran should instead target a critical and strategically significant piece of regional infrastructure and explicitly declare that the action is a response to the immediate and serious threat against Iran’s nuclear facilities. It should also make clear that any future attack on those facilities would trigger further strikes against key infrastructure across the region.

 

While behind-the-scenes efforts may temporarily ease tensions for a few days, they are unlikely to change what is described as Trump’s emerging pattern of escalation.
