WANA (Jul 07) – Iran’s national football team’s official social media account reacted to the United States’ 4-1 defeat to Belgium and its elimination from the 2026 FIFA World Cup by sharing an image with the caption “Dance with me!”

 

The post appeared to reference remarks made by the U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security following Iran’s elimination from the tournament, when the official said they had “danced with joy.”

 

The image also highlighted Belgium’s 4-1 victory over the United States alongside Belgium’s 0-0 draw with Iran in the group stage, implying that Belgium had been unable to defeat Iran earlier in the tournament.
