Iran Offers Condolences Over Deadly Indian Plane Crash
WANA (Jun 12) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, Esmaeil Baghaei, expressed condolences to the government and people of India following the tragic crash of an Indian passenger aircraft that claimed the lives of all on board.
Baghaei conveyed Iran’s heartfelt sympathy to the families of the victims and offered prayers for the souls of those who perished. “We extend our deep condolences to the government, people of India, and the bereaved families affected by this sorrowful incident,” he said.
The Indian airliner, carrying more than 240 passengers en route to London, crashed near Ahmedabad. All passengers and crew members aboard were killed in the accident.
