WANA (Apr 13) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a telephone conversation on Monday to discuss the latest regional developments.

 

During the call, the Iranian Foreign Minister briefed his Omani counterpart on developments regarding the ceasefire and the ongoing negotiations between Iran and the United States aimed at ending the regional conflict.

 

Regional Stability and Cooperation

Araghchi expressed appreciation for Oman’s “responsible and principled” positions regarding regional events, particularly concerning the military aggression by the United States and Israel against Iran.

 

He emphasized the Islamic Republic’s commitment to safeguarding regional peace and stability through the cooperation and participation of all neighboring countries, free from “destructive American interference.”

 

Oman Welcomes Diplomatic Path

The Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman welcomed Iran’s responsible approach in accepting the continuation of the ceasefire and engaging in the diplomatic process. He expressed hope for the swift restoration of peace and stability to the region.
