WANA (Aug 01) – A senior Iranian security official warned that Tehran has prepared extensive retaliation plans if the U.S. or Israel targets Iranian infrastructure, calling American media reports of prospective strikes “madness.”

 

“We have prepared a wide-ranging response plan targeting critical infrastructure of the Zionist regime and U.S. energy assets in the region, and we are ready for it,” the official stated.

 

He added that Iranian armed forces have demonstrated both the capability and will to execute these threats, pointing to their actions during the “40-day war” and recent weeks.
