WANA (Nov 12) – An Iranian knowledge-based company has developed advanced freeze-dryer (lyophilizer) machines for the food and pharmaceutical sectors, claiming their products are superior in quality to Chinese and Indian models while remaining competitively priced.

According to CEO Gholamreza Hosseini, the company focuses on advanced technologies and addressing domestic industrial needs, with key achievements including freeze-dryer and auto-loading systems. These machines remove moisture from frozen materials through sublimation, making them essential in drug and food production.

Hosseini noted that while China, India, and European companies are major competitors, the Iranian products feature new-generation control and cooling systems, unlike the outdated technologies used by some foreign rivals.

With support from Iran’s Innovation and Prosperity Fund, the company opened a new factory in early 2023 and is expanding into branding and exports—particularly to Russia and Turkey.

It is also pursuing joint projects with foreign partners, including an Indian firm active in the Middle East, to reach markets such as Iraq, the UAE, and Oman.

The firm’s R&D team is additionally working on localizing injectable filling machines and isolators, aiming to add these to its product line by the end of the year.
