Iran–Qatar Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Developments
WANA (Feb 03) – Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, held a telephone conversation on Tuesday, during which they discussed and exchanged views on the latest regional developments.
During the call, Iran’s foreign minister expressed appreciation for the diplomatic efforts and initiatives of regional countries—particularly the Qatari government—describing their role in safeguarding regional stability and security as important and constructive.
Emphasizing the shared commitment of regional countries to preserving lasting peace and stability, the two sides underscored the need to continue cooperation, strengthen close coordination, and make effective use of regional dialogue to achieve this common objective.
