Iran Reaffirms Nuclear Transparency, Rejects Western Bullying
WANA (Jun 07) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian issued a strong rebuke to Western pressure over Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities, stating: “We bow only to God, and we will never allow others to decide our nation’s fate. The Islamic Republic of Iran welcomes logical dialogue—but will never submit to bullying or coercion.”
Speaking during a meeting with Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu, Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran has never sought nuclear weapons. “We have repeatedly declared—and demonstrated—that we do not and will not pursue nuclear arms or weapons of mass destruction,” he said.
He underscored the transparency of Iran’s nuclear program, noting that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has affirmed this multiple times. “We are open to inspections, but any attempt to deny nations access to scientific knowledge and vital technologies in health, agriculture, and innovation is unacceptable—and a deprivation of divine blessings.”

Iran, Kazakhstan Set to Expand Comprehensive Cooperation
Pezeshkian also voiced Iran’s readiness to deepen ties with Kazakhstan across all sectors. Highlighting cultural and historical commonalities between the two nations, he said: “We are fully prepared to expand our relations with Kazakhstan in all fields. The future of our bilateral relationship depends on a joint will to build a brighter future based on peace, security, and prosperity for the region and the world.”
He emphasized Iran’s Islamic and fraternal approach to diplomacy, saying: “According to our religious values, we consider Muslim nations as our brothers. Based on that, we are ready to collaborate with all Islamic countries—including Kazakhstan—for mutual development and sustainable progress.”
He also addressed Nurtleu directly: “Foreign ministers are the key to unlocking intergovernmental relations. Turn that key, open the doors, and pave the way for full-scale cooperation.”

Eid al-Adha: A Symbol of Unity Among Muslim Nations
In his remarks, Pezeshkian congratulated the Kazakh delegation on Eid al-Adha and expressed hope that the occasion would be used to reinforce unity among Islamic countries. He described the Eid and the global Hajj pilgrimage as symbols of submission to divine will and a global display of Muslim unity.
“This great gathering must result in a shared commitment to strengthening friendship and dignity among Muslim nations and advancing the cause of Islam,” he said.
Kazakhstan Reaffirms Desire to Elevate Relations with Iran
In response, Murat Nurtleu expressed satisfaction over the meeting and extended Eid greetings to the Iranian government and people. He reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s strong political will to boost cooperation with Iran across political, economic, and regional dimensions.
He also delivered a written message from the Kazakh President and voiced hope that it would mark the beginning of a new chapter in Iran-Kazakhstan ties.
Nurtleu further praised Iran’s principled position on its nuclear program, stating: “We recognize Iran as a nation with a rich cultural and civilizational heritage. We fully support your legitimate right to peaceful nuclear energy. I am confident that your reform efforts will lead to greater prosperity and development for the Iranian people.”
Previously, Murat Nurtleu met with Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi.
