WANA (May 01) – The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in London reaffirmed the country’s position in firmly condemning terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, including recent incidents in the UK.

In a press release, the embassy rejected any claim regarding Iranian involvement or connection with violent activities and incidents in the UK.

It stated that such baseless accusations against the Islamic Republic lack credible evidence and are raised to serve narrow political goals, mislead public opinion, and divert attention from the real roots of terrorism and violent extremism.

The statement added that Iran, as a country that has been a primary victim of terrorism over decades and has lost hundreds of thousands of innocent citizens—including senior officials and scientists—remains at the forefront of the global fight against terrorism and violent extremism.
