WANA (Jul 01) – The Iranian Embassy in Berlin has rejected and condemned allegations in German media about a supposed “possible attack on Jewish sites.”

On Tuesday, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Berlin firmly rejected and condemned claims made by certain German media outlets regarding a “possible attack on Jewish sites.”

German prosecutors earlier today alleged that a Danish national had been arrested on charges of spying for Iran, with the aim of gathering information about Jewish sites and individuals in Berlin.

The Iranian Embassy in Berlin stated that these “baseless and dangerous” accusations appear to be part of a deliberate campaign to distract public attention from the recent aggression by the Zionist regime against Iranian territory, which resulted in the martyrdom of nearly a thousand Iranians, including women, children, and scientists.

The Embassy also stressed that it had previously conveyed to German officials that certain third parties are engaged in fabricating narratives to mislead public opinion about the facts on the ground, and therefore there should be vigilance about these orchestrated and suspicious campaigns.

Iranian Ambassador Summoned by German Foreign Ministry

Germany has summoned the Iranian ambassador following accusations against Tehran over “alleged espionage by a Danish national and a potential threat to Jewish sites.”

The German Foreign Ministry, confirming the summons, stated in a post on social media platform X: “We will not tolerate any threat to the lives of Jews in Germany. The suspicion against a man in Denmark of alleged espionage on behalf of Iran must be fully investigated.”
