Iran Reports Fresh Strikes on U.S. and Israeli Targets
WANA (Mar 23) – A spokesperson for Iran’s central military command announced that U.S. and Israeli forces in the region are “fully under surveillance” by Iranian armed forces, while detailing a new wave of drone and missile operations targeting multiple locations.
According to the spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Iranian Army forces launched drone attacks early Sunday using Arash-2 loitering munitions. The strikes reportedly targeted Israeli aerospace-related facilities near Ben Gurion Air Base, as well as locations hosting U.S. reconnaissance aircraft at Prince Sultan Air Base in the region.
The statement described these operations as part of the “74th wave” of a broader campaign referred to as “Operation True Promise 4,” conducted under the code name “Ya Amir al-Mu’minin.”
The campaign allegedly targets U.S. bases across the region as well as sites in central and southern areas of Israel.
Iranian officials also claimed that additional targets—including U.S. military assets such as Prince Sultan Air Base and the United States Fifth Fleet—were struck using Emad, Fateh, and Qiam missiles, along with attack drones.
The spokesperson further asserted that military and security sites in cities including Tel Aviv, Petah Tikva, Holon, and Ramat Gan were hit by ballistic missiles such as Kheibar Shekan, Qadr, and Khorramshahr-4.
Hours later, the “75th wave” of the operation was reportedly launched under a new code name, “Ya Fatimah al-Zahra,” targeting newly identified positions of U.S. and Israeli forces based on intelligence assessments.
The statement also claimed that Prince Sultan Air Base in Al-Kharj, described as a key hub for U.S. air operations, was struck by ballistic missiles.
In a warning directed at U.S. and Israeli personnel, the spokesperson said their movements and hiding locations are being closely monitored, adding that concealment within residential areas would not ensure their safety.
The spokesperson further alleged that recent Iranian operations have disrupted U.S. military logistics and contributed to what was described as a breakdown in the region’s multi-layered U.S.-Israeli air defense network. It also claimed that strategic confusion within United States Central Command has shifted the balance of the conflict in Iran’s favor.
The statement concluded by asserting that escalating tensions and reactions from U.S. and Israeli officials were “predictable,” reiterating prior warnings about the risk of a broader regional conflict.
