WANA (Mar 26) – An informed military source has reported the large-scale organization of Iran’s ground forces amid rising tensions, stating that more than one million fighters have been prepared for potential ground combat scenarios.

 

According to domestic Iranian news agencies, the source said that growing speculation over a possible U.S. ground incursion in southern Iran has sparked a wave of readiness and motivation among military personnel and volunteers. He noted that the preparations are aimed at ensuring effective deterrence and full operational readiness in the face of any potential action.

 

The source also highlighted a significant surge in volunteers heading to recruitment centers affiliated with the Basij, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and the army, adding that in recent days, large numbers of young Iranians have expressed willingness to take part in defending the country.

 

He further emphasized that any risky move would be met with a firm response, stressing that the prepared forces possess the necessary capabilities to handle various scenarios.
