WANA (Apr 08) – The General Staff of the Armed Forces and the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters have released a formal communiqué celebrating the conclusion of 40 days of resistance against “American-Zionist” aggression, declaring that the enemy has been forced to accept Iran’s terms.

 

The full text of the statement is as follows:

 

“In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

‘If you support Allah, He will support you and plant your feet firmly.’

‘Peace be upon you, O Remnant of Allah on His earth.’

 

With salutations to the pure soul of the late Imam and the luminous, celestial soul of the Martyred Leader of the Ummah and the Lord of the Martyrs of the Islamic Revolution, and the holy spirits of the martyrs of the people and the warriors of Islam. Greetings to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei (may his shadow be extended), and condolences to the families of the martyrs.

 

Forty days of steadfastness, resistance, and the conscious presence of the people on the scene, alongside the relentless combat of the brave sons of the nation against the blatant and illegal aggression of the American-Zionist enemies toward our homeland, Iran, have finally forced them to accept the proposed conditions of Islamic Iran and led to their surrender.

 

Following the 12-day imposed war in June 2025, the warriors of Islam—armed with 47 years of experience and the 12-day Sacred Defense—prepared themselves for a more crushing, longer, and broader war, maintaining total distrust toward the enemy.

 

Following the failure of the American-Zionist sedition in January 2026, the enemies launched another aggression on February 28, 2026, martyring our leader—dearer than life—along with several commanders and citizens.

 

The Armed Forces immediately utilized the prior commands and strategies of the Martyred Leader of the Ummah to launch a lightning, heavy, and crushing offensive. The enemy never expected such authority; as each day passed, the American and Zionist forces were met with heavier, more breaking blows and new surprises as the war engulfed the region.

 

Through the initiative of the powerful Armed Forces of Iran, control of the war was stripped from the abject enemy. They were left with nothing but heavy casualties, numerous military fatalities, and extensive infrastructural damage.

 

The brave sons of the nation—including the Army, IRGC, Law Enforcement, defense industry personnel, Basij, and nomadic tribes—with the all-encompassing support of the people in the streets, humiliated the American and Zionist enemies. By striking U.S. bases in the region and the army of the child-killing Zionist regime in the occupied territories, as well as vital military, security, and economic assets, they proved that a powerful Iran is capable of decisively putting any enemy in its place and forcing it to surrender.

 

With divine victory and the support of the brave people, the warriors of Islam presented a model to the world. They proved that the cost of resistance against the most bullying government in the world—world-devouring America—is far less than compromise.

 

This resistance and successive offensives have stripped the artificial layer of power from the criminal U.S. military and the child-killing Zionist regime, revealing their true face of humiliation and helplessness before the divine will of the Soldiers of the Lord.

 

The unwavering will of the Armed Forces, stemming from deep-rooted faith and trust in the Almighty, along with the support of the honorable and faithful people of this country, has proven that the advanced weaponry, equipment, and technology of the “Legions of Satan” are ineffective against such resolve.

 

Furthermore, such advanced facilities and equipment become truly effective, pride-inducing, and victory-creating only when placed in the hands of Muslim and faithful warriors.

 

We declare once again: With total distrust of the American and Zionist enemies, we are monitoring all their movements in the region. Should they commit another error, we will confront them even more destructively and lethally than before.

 

Through our own initiative, we are managing the Strait of Hormuz and controlling it intelligently.

 

We state for the umpteenth time: We are not, and will not be, a threat to the countries of the region. We advise Muslim governments and nations to trust Islamic Iran and to cooperate and strive for the expulsion of the primary disturber of regional and global security—the U.S. military.

 

The Armed Forces will utilize every opportunity to increase their defensive power. Upon the withdrawal of hostile forces from the region, we will employ all our capabilities to establish order and security in the Persian Gulf and international waterways, thereby guaranteeing regional security.

 

While expressing gratitude for the struggles of the Resistance Front warriors during the recent imposed war, we will continue to support the Resistance Front in Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, and Iraq as we have in the past.

 

We hold America as a partner in any aggression, encroachment, or violation by the Zionist regime against Islamic Iran and its interests, and we will deal with it decisively.

 

While extending our appreciation and gratitude for the self-sacrifice and devotion of all members of the Armed Forces, the People’s Basij, and the dear nomadic tribes, we remain ready with our fingers on the trigger. By Divine grace, we shall deprive the abject, bankrupt, and desperate American-Zionist enemies of any opportunity for error, deception, or surprise.

 

We call upon the conscious, resistant people who are always on the scene to maintain their presence in the squares and streets in the coming nights, as they have done in the past, to disappoint the enemies of a powerful Iran and a courageous nation in any attempt at sedition.”
