WANA (Mar 22) – Iraq’s Ministry of Electricity spokesperson announced that Iranian gas exports to the country have resumed at a volume of 5 million cubic meters per day.

The resumption of gas exports to Iraq comes as recent attacks on the Asaluyeh energy region, contrary to initial concerns, have not caused a crisis in the country’s gas supply on the scale of the winter peak demand period.

Experts believe this move indicates that domestic gas supply conditions in Iran have returned to relative stability, making renewed exports possible.
