Iran Returns 2 Ships in the Strait of Hormuz
WANA (Apr 18) – TankerTrackers announced that two ships attempting to exit the Strait of Hormuz without permission and head eastward were turned back following gunfire.
The tanker tracking firm TankerTrackers reported moments ago that two Indian ships were forced by the Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy to turn back from the Strait of Hormuz and head west.
According to TankerTrackers, one of these vessels was an Indian-flagged supertanker carrying 2 million barrels of oil. The company stated that gunfire occurred during the incident.
Notably, the spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters announced today that due to the breach of commitments by the Americans—who continue their piracy under the guise of a naval blockade—control of the Strait of Hormuz has returned to its previous status. This strategic strait is now under the management and strict control of the Armed Forces.
According to the spokesperson, until the United States ends its interference with the full freedom of movement for vessels traveling to and from Iran, the situation in the Strait of Hormuz will remain under intense control and will persist in its current state.
