WANA (Mar 05) – Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi held a phone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Wednesday, focusing on recent regional developments and the impact of military aggression against Iran.

During the call, Lavrov expressed his condolences for the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader and several senior military commanders, as well as other Iranian citizens, resulting from U.S. and Israeli attacks.

He stressed that such attacks violate fundamental principles of international law and the United Nations Charter, with severe consequences for regional and global stability.

Araghchi thanked Lavrov for his sympathy and outlined the latest developments, detailing the crimes committed by Israel and the United States against the Iranian people, including strikes targeting residential areas, schools, mosques, hospitals, and emergency service centers.
