Iran Says Its Caracas Embassy Operating Normally
WANA (Jan 04) – Iran’s ambassador to Venezuela said in a recent interview that Iran’s embassy in Caracas is continuing its activities as usual.
Ali Chegeni, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Venezuela, stressed that there has been no discussion of closing the embassy, even temporarily. He said the embassy is carrying out its duties with greater determination than before.
Chegeni also stated that all embassy staff are in good health.
He added that Iranian nationals in Venezuela are safe and face no problems, noting that the embassy remains fully engaged in communicating with and assisting them.
