Iran Secures 4 Medals at 2025 International AI Olympiad in Beijing
WANA (Aug 08) – Iran’s national artificial intelligence team achieved notable success at the 2025 International AI Olympiad, earning two silver medals and two bronze medals.
The second edition of the prestigious global competition was held in Beijing, China, from August 2 to 9, 2025. Led by Dr. Amin Najafi, the Iranian delegation competed against some of the world’s top young researchers in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Ali Shayan and Arash Yousef-Nejad claimed silver medals, while Radin Rahmani Nodehi and Parsa Golestani brought home bronze medals for Iran.
The event gathered leading minds from across the globe, highlighting innovation, research, and problem-solving skills in the rapidly advancing fields of AI and machine learning.
