Iran Shifts Military Doctrine to Offensive, Vows to Disrupt Enemy Calculations
WANA (Mar 22) – Major General Abdollahi, commander of the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya [Iranian military corps], stated that, as previously announced, the Iranian armed forces’ doctrine for defending the Islamic Republic has shifted from a defensive to an offensive posture. Battlefield tactics have been adapted to reflect this new doctrine.
He added that the armed forces, leveraging the capabilities of motivated and dedicated young scientists, have developed—and continue to develop—advanced weapons and equipment that will completely disrupt enemy calculations.
Abdollahi warned that Iran’s adversaries have already witnessed glimpses of these capabilities on the battlefield and that this process will continue, with new surprises expected in future engagements.
He further highlighted that Iran’s armed forces, backed by a courageous, vigilant, and resilient population, have demonstrated their power and readiness to adversaries since the onset of any aggression.
The major general concluded by emphasizing that the historic unity of Iran’s brave citizens and proud armed forces, under full allegiance to the Supreme Leader, promises further victories ahead.
