Iran Strikes Israeli Internal Security and Media Facilities
WANA (Mar 19) – The Islamic Republic of Iran Army announced in Statement No. 35 that it carried out drone strikes targeting multiple sites linked to Israel’s internal security and media infrastructure.
According to the statement, drone attacks targeted the Israeli Ministry of Internal Security in occupied Jerusalem, Channel 13 television in Tel Aviv, and facilities at the Ar‘ar military base early today. The operation was described as retaliation for the killing of naval personnel and Iran’s Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib.
The army said the Israeli internal security ministry and Channel 13 play key roles in crisis management and information control, and accused them of being central to what it described as media censorship and psychological operations against Iran.
It further stated that the Ar‘ar base holds strategic importance due to its proximity to the borders with Lebanon and Syria, serving as a key ground forces installation.
The statement added that a new generation of drone swarms was used in this round of attacks.
