Iran Successfully Tested a Missile with a Two-Ton Warhead
WANA (Jun 11) – Iranian Defense Minister Amir Azizi Nasirzadeh announced that the country recently conducted a successful missile test involving a warhead weighing two tons. Speaking on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting, he said: “We’ve had very significant achievements in defense matters, and our operational forces are fully equipped. Our most recent success was the test of a missile with a two-ton warhead, which took place a week ago and was highly successful.”
Addressing recent remarks made by leaders of certain countries about Iran, Nasirzadeh warned: “If a conflict is imposed on us, we will target all U.S. military bases in the host countries.”
He added: “Some officials on the other side have threatened that if negotiations fail, it could lead to conflict and bloodshed. On behalf of the Iranian people and the armed forces, I sincerely hope things do not reach that point and that diplomacy prevails. But if a confrontation is imposed on us, it’s clear the other side will suffer more casualties than we will.”
Nasirzadeh concluded with a stark warning to Washington: “If that happens, the United States will have to leave the region, because all of its bases are within our reach. We will target every single U.S. base in the host countries — without hesitation.”
