WANA (Jun 08) – Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization and major international hubs have announced the suspension of all commercial flights across multiple regions until further notice, following the outbreak of direct military confrontations between Iran and Israel.

 

Kermanshah and Shiraz Airports Halts Departures

Kermanshah Airport has grounded all scheduled flights, bringing all aviation operations at the facility to a complete standstill. Ground data indicated that no prior cancellations had been registered on the airport’s flight boards before the emergency directive. Officials stated that updates regarding the resumption of services will be provided at a later time.

 

Simultaneously, regional aviation authorities confirmed that all operations at Shiraz International Airport have been suspended until at least 8:00 PM local time tonight.

 

Tehran Air Corridors Closed: Imam Khomeini and Mehrabad Grounded

In the capital, the spokesperson for the Civil Aviation Organization announced the immediate suspension of all flight routes at Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA).

 

Concurrently, the Public Relations Office of Mehrabad International Airport issued an emergency advisory confirming a total halt to its domestic flight operations. Authorities urged passengers to refrain from traveling to the airport and to verify their flight status remotely via the national aviation hotline.

 

Mashhad Disruptions

The grounding has expanded to northeastern transportation corridors as well. The Director of Public Relations at Mashhad’s Shahid Hasheminejad International Airport confirmed that all arriving and departing flights have been canceled until further notice, citing safety measures enacted in response to military developments overnight.
