Iran Targets U.S. Bases and Israeli Sites
WANA (Feb 28) – Following early morning strikes by Israel and the United States on targets inside Iran, Iranian armed forces launched a large-scale regional military operation within hours — an operation that has expanded across multiple Middle Eastern countries.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced in an official statement that the response was carried out directly after what it described as a “joint U.S.–Israeli military aggression.” According to the statement, the operation included missile and drone strikes against U.S. military bases across the region as well as military and security facilities inside Israel.

Based on information released by Iranian official sources, the following locations were listed among the targets:

Al Udeid Air Base
A U.S. radar system identified as “FP-132” stationed in Qatar
IRGC public relations stated that the FP-132 radar, described as having a range of 5,000 kilometers and used for tracking ballistic missiles, was “completely destroyed” in the strike. The statement said the system was equipped with advanced early-warning and missile-detection capabilities. - Kuwait

The IRGC stated that missile and drone operations are continuing and that further phases of the operation are underway. It also indicated that, in addition to military installations, other U.S. government interests in the region fall within the defined operational scope.
Earlier, U.S. and Israeli officials had confirmed carrying out airstrikes against targets in Iran. Donald Trump, President of the United States, announced that American forces had launched a military campaign named “Operation Epic Fury.”
Meanwhile, explosions were reported in Tehran and other Iranian cities, with air defense systems heard operating over the capital.
