WANA (Aug 13) – Mohammad Mokhber, advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader, stated that Tehran is prepared to shift to an offensive strategy if its conditions are not met, warning that such a move would fundamentally alter global power dynamics.

 

In a statement addressing regional tensions, Mokhber argued that the United States has proven incapable of protecting its allies in the Persian Gulf.

 

“The Leader’s definitive strategy to shift toward an offensive posture—should Iran’s conditions fail to be met—will undoubtedly transform global equations of power,” Mokhber stated.

 

“With Washington’s inability to protect its regional allies in the Persian Gulf now proven, the most sustainable path to a new regional order is the implementation of the Hormuz economic-security framework, entirely independent of U.S. military guarantees.”
