WANA (Sep 17) – Mahan Air flights from Iran to Turkey will be suspended from September 21, 2026, until further notice.

According to a notice sent to contracted travel agencies and ticket sales offices, citing notifications from the relevant Turkish authorities, all Mahan Air flights from Iran to destinations in Turkey, including Istanbul, Ankara and Balikesir, will be suspended as of September 21.

The notice said the airline’s final flights on the Tehran–Istanbul and Tehran–Ankara routes will operate on September 20.

No reason was given for the suspension, with the decision attributed to notifications from the relevant Turkish authorities. The continuation or resumption of Mahan Air flights to Turkey will therefore depend on the issuance of a new notice by the relevant authorities.
