WANA (Mar 27) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran has issued an official statement following the “martyrdom” of six Iranian diplomats by the “Zionist regime” in Lebanon.

The Ministry declared it will utilize all legal and international capacities to pursue this crime and hold the “savage Zionist regime” accountable.

The official statement condemning the “criminal assassination” is as follows:

“And do not think of those killed in the path of Allah as dead; rather, they are alive, finding their sustenance in their Lord.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemns the heinous crime of the “infanticide Zionist regime” in attacking the residence of several Iranian diplomats in Lebanon.

This terrorist crime—planned and executed as a continuation of the regime’s aggressive actions against the Iranian nation—demonstrates the malicious nature of the Israeli regime and its inherent conflict with fundamental legal and human norms, including the principle of diplomatic immunity and the necessity of respecting the national sovereignty of the host country.

The “Zionist regime’s” terrorist act in assassinating Iranian diplomats is a clear example of organized terrorism and a blatant violation of the fundamental principles of international law.

While offering congratulations and condolences on the “martyrdom” of these loved ones to their families and the Iranian nation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will employ all legal and international capacities to pursue this crime and hold the “savage Zionist regime” accountable.

Commemorating the memory of the high-ranking “martyrs”—Seyed Mohammadreza Mousavi, Alireza Biazar, Majid Hasani Kandasar, Hossein Ahmadloo, Ahmad Rasouli, and Amir Moradi—the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes its pledge and covenant to continue their proud path in safeguarding the security and national interests of Iran.
